Yoga Teachers

N'spired Yoga is proud to have some of Rockford's finest yoga teachers sharing their expertise with our clients.

The instructors are experienced and well trained. Currently there are four 200 Hour RYT's teaching at the studio

We are committed to continuing education believing that a teacher never stops being a student.

All of the teachers are independent contractors and therefore bring their own brand and style of teaching to the class.

We hope you will also continue to learn and grow through your yoga practice with us.






Nancy is the founder and president of Nspired Inc. The studio opened in 2013. She is a 200 Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, (E-RYT.)  She has been teaching yoga since 2004 and practicing yoga for 20 years. Nancy believes Yoga is a practice that is accessible to anyone, who desires to find more flexibility through simple movement, while listening to the body. The practice of yoga is designed to bring strength to the body, peace to the mind and joy to the spirit.

Teaching yoga is a passion for Nancy, but her greatest joy is family. She loves spending time with her husband, four married children, their spouses and twelve grandchildren. She believes age should never keep you from pursuing your dreams.

Beth Amy

Beth Amy has been teaching yoga in the Rockford area for over 10 years, her style is Vinyasa (flow yoga) which can best be described as “movement connected with breath”. She designs her classes with the intention of offering a variety of poses, that with options, makes the experience enjoyable for beginners as well as more advanced students. Outside of the studio, you might find her walking the family dogs, watching a classic movie, or treasure hunting at a thrift store!

Sarah R

Candy has been practicing yoga for about 12 years. She is a full time police officer of 20 years, mother and wife. Candy became certified to teach yoga in 2019 after an injury at work that wouldn’t heal with medication.  Restorative yoga healed her.

After that she began practicing Restorative, Yin and Vinyasa Flow regularly. Yoga helped Candy lose 14 pounds that she had tried  for 2 years to lose.  Candy dedicated practice of Yoga has changed her world.

She teaches a combination yoga class and is excited to have joined the yoga family at Nspired.  Join Candy every other Wednesday morning.

Kim M

Kim has been in the fitness industry for almost 40 years. A personal trainer and group fitness instructor certified in several formats. She has taught yoga for 12 years with a fitness emphasis. She travels internationally to 5 star resorts in Mexico , Dominican Republic and Big Sur Baja California guest teaching yoga classes. Join her on Fridays for an all levels class focusing on posture and balance.  She looks forward to sharing her  knowledge of fitness and passion for yoga with you !! 

Keri  ( Keri is  currently on maternity leave)


 Official Yoga Instructor of the Rockford IceHogs, Rockford native, and 20 year practitioner of yoga, Keri is trained in and currently teaches Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and chair/therapeutic yoga in Rockford/Rockford area. Her journey has included studying the history, lineage, philosophy, and systems of traditional Hatha and Raja Yoga, Anusara, Bhakti, Iyengar, and Integral Yoga – focusing on Vinyasa Flow to deepen her own practice. She also teaches several workshops and events throughout the year and is an activist for implementing yoga in schools and working with those who live with chronic conditions, injury, illness, and dis-ease.

Keri, a nature and animal lover, enjoy spending her free-time outdoors, reading, devoting time to her own yoga and meditation practice, and traveling.
